Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini Mono Backpack

Categories:Louis Vuitton

And then, there were 2! Just 2 seasons ago, Louis Vuitton came out with the mini version of their monogram backpack, modified the design, and changed the vachetta trims into black leather. I personally thought the bag was sooo cute and actually quite easy to carry, and the only thing that made me think twice really was its price. For such a small bag, the price would’ve been equivalent to 2 monogram speedy bags.

A handful of people I know bought the medium version of the Palm Springs backpack. But the medium backpack didn’t differ much in function compared to the Gucci version. I preferred this mini size because of the strap versatility.

This coming Fall, there is another version of the mini mono backpack– the brown shades of the monogram canvas have been reversed. Peeps, how do you find it, and would you have preferred it over the original one?

Ok, so I stared at the bag for a bit. And I thought the color resembled something that would have come out of this dude….

Louis Vuitton V Printed Mono Bleu Collection

Categories:Louis Vuitton

louis_vuitton_v-printed-mono-bleu-collectionLet’s face it, the monogram isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. You can hate on it and bitch all you want, but the fact that monograms are still a staple at many luxury houses simply proves how popular they continue to be. And given how most everyone is updating their house monograms with that something extra-extra to make it more cool/desirable/relevant, it just means more options (and temptation) for fans out there.

Take this S/S15 capsule collection from Louis Vuitton made just for the boys. Known as the V Printed Mono Bleu collection, it’s exactly what the name suggests, a blue V that’s printed (or in this case, overprinted) onto Monogram Canvas that ends up looking pretty handsome, if you ask me.

To be released in time for Valentine’s Day (you should start heading down to LV in early February), prices are SGD1070, SGD1890 and SGD870 for the Brazza (the long wallet), the Atoll (the travel zip wallet) and the Multiple (the standard billfold) respectively.
